Bag 2 School
Are you a school looking to run a DARE Programme but are struggling to find the funds? If so Bag 2 School could help.
Bag 2 School is a system set up to collect unwanted clothing that is then exported abroad to countries that need and can use them. All Schools recieve 50 pence per kilo for what they can collect, items accepted include clothing, shoes, curtains, bedding, soft toys, hats belts and handbags.
To start raising money for your school, arrange a collection and get teachers, parents and students to bring in their unwanted clothes on a specified day. You can call the Life Skills Education offices to arrange delivery and collection of your bags. Check out the video below to see how it all works.
To promote your collection day you can download posters to personalise and display throughout your school. Once you have set a collection day, promote it to all your parents and children letting them know the day when the Bag 2 School collection team will be visiting.
