In order to teach the DARE Active programme you are required to become a D.A.R.E. Champion. We, at Life Skills Education can train you to deliver the course to young people enabling you to work with them to further develop their skills, increase their knowledge and move forward with increased confidence.
To become a DARE Champion you will need to have some knowledge of how young people learn and also of a range of different teaching methods. However, don’t worry if you don’t already have this – we can add this into your training package. Alongside this, we will ensure that you have knowledge of the programme requirements together with the most up to date drugs information, all of which will allow you to deliver the course in complete confidence.
